Anuradhapura City Tour

Anuradhapura is home to the world's tallest brick-built stupas. Ruwanweli saya, Abhayagiri, and Jetawana Dagabas were the main structures of the monasteries Mahavihara, Abayagiri Vihara, and Jetavanarama, respectively. Then you'll see the Sri Mahabodhi, the Mahaviharaya's sacred tree shrine, which was planted in the 3rd century BC and continues to be venerated by Buddhists all year. Visit the Thuparama Dagaba, an ancient stupa constructed by King Devanampiyatissa. It was turned into a circular Chaitya Shrine (Vatadage).

Ram Sethu

Ram Setu, also known as Adam's Bridge (Ramsethu), Rama's Bridge, or Nala Setu, is a 48-kilometer-long chain of sand dunes and limestone shoals that connects Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu, India, to Mannar Island on Sri Lanka's northwestern coast. This is one of Sri Lanka's most important Ramayana sites. According to Hindu religious doctrines and the Ramayana, the great Indian epic, Lord Rama and his Vanara (monkey) army built the bridge. Surprisingly, this sand dune trail is still visible from an overhead perspective today. Hanuman had to build this bridge so Rama could travel over to Lanka and rescue Sita, who had been kidnapped by Sri Lankan King Ravana.

According to the Mahavamsa records and the Tamil Buddhist epic Manimekalai, the island formerly had a gem-studded throne and a stone containing the Buddha's imprint.
