Transit day

Drive to Darjeeling after breakfast at the hotel. DARJEELING: Tucked away at an elevation of 2134 meters in the Himalayas, "Dorje Ling," also known as the Place of the Thunderbolt, provides awe-inspiring vistas of snow-covered mountain peaks, the highest of which is the Kanchendzonga. With its little waterfalls, sleepy villages, and narrow gauge railroad track, it is still sometimes referred to as the "Queen of the Hills." One of the most unique travel locations is Darjeeling, which is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and world-famous tea gardens. As "A view Scarcely Unrivalled on Earth," Darjeeling is described by Graeme Westlake in his book "An introduction to hill stations on India." At Darjeeling, spend the night.
