Cairo Local Sightseeing

Embark on a journey with Egypt Vibes' Egyptologist to The Egyptian Museum, housing over 145,000 artifacts, and The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC), offering insights from pre-dynastic to modern eras. Explore Cairo's historic sites like the Church of St. Sergius, The Hanging Church, and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Then, experience Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, filled with Egyptian souvenirs and local delights. Conclude with a departure from Cairo railway station on the First AC Class Sleeper train to Aswan.

Nile Cruise

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport in the early morning to catch a direct flight to Aswan. Upon arrival in Aswan, you will proceed to board your Nile Cruise. Following an orientation session, embark on a tour to explore the renowned sights of Aswan. The High Dam, constructed in the 1960s, stands as an engineering marvel containing 18 times more material than the Great Pyramid of Cheops. Next, you will continue your journey by motorboat to the island of Philae. There, you will visit the exquisite White Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis, which was revered as the most sacred temple by both Egyptians and Nubians.

Kom Ombu&Edfu

Sail to Kom Ombo and view the spectacular Greco-Roman temple honoring the gods of the sun, Horus, and crocodiles, Sobek, and Sobek. Continue sailing to Edfu, where you will arrive and begin your tour in a horse-drawn carriage to see the Temple of Horus, the falcon-headed god of the sky. This large Egyptian temple is the best preserved of all of them, with beautiful inscriptions on the walls that offer insightful information about myth, language, and religion in prehistoric Egypt. Edfu Temple, Egypt's second-largest temple after Karnak Temple, is a striking structure.

LUXOR SIGHTSEEING

Welcome to Luxor, the largest open-air museum in the world. Unlike Cairo, Luxor has a laid-back atmosphere. Explore the world's largest religious structure, the Karnak Temple structure, which was constructed by several pharaohs and is considered the most magnificent expression of worship in history. Next, investigate Luxor's Imposing Temple. Admire the trio of colossal statues of Ramses II situated in front of the temple pillars. The Avenue of the Sphinx, the Colonnade of Amenhotep III with its 50-foot-tall columns, and the Courtyard of Ramses II.

Transit Day

Following breakfast, disembark and go across the Nile to The Valley of Kings, which houses the hidden tombs of the Pharaohs of the New Kingdom from the eleventh to the sixteenth centuries BC. Discover the magnificently terraced Queen Hatshepsut's funerary temple at Deir el Bahari. She was the only pharaonic woman to rule ancient Egypt and the most powerful queen of all time. Next, visit the renowned Colossi of Memnon, which is the remnant of Amenhotep III's mortuary temple and stands almost 70 feet tall. after which proceed to the airport to get a direct flight to Cairo. After arriving in Cairo, go to your hotel and spend the night there.
