Enroute Thekkady sightseeing (04 Hrs.)

This morning, after savoring breakfast at the Munnar hotel/resort, pack your things and finish the check-out procedure. You will then be taken to the charming town of Thekkady, which is located close to the border between Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Once you've arrived, make yourself at home and relax for a while. Take an actual tour of the Periyar National Park later in the day. This protected reserve forest is home to an amazing variety of flora and fauna. One of the biggest artificial lakes in India, Periyar Lake, is situated next to the national park. To completely appreciate the natural beauty of the surrounds, treat yourself to a tranquil boat trip. You can visit spice plantations and look into local shopping options.

Alleppey Excursions

Once you check out of the hotel, proceed to the next stop, Alleppey, where you will check into your hotel. Alappuzha is a well-known backwater destination that attracts thousands of foreign tourists every year. It is well-known for its boat races, beaches, marine products, and coir industry. Alappuzha offers a unique experience, particularly in the region known as Kuttanad. Kuttanad is renowned for its verdant paddy fields, which are sometimes referred to as the "rice bowl of Kerala" and are among the few places on Earth where farming is done below sea level. After that, you can explore the area further in Alleppey. You can visit Vembanad Lake, Mannarasala Sree Nagaraja Temple, Alleppey Beach, and the Coir Weaving Industry (you will need to pay for the boat).

Departure Day

Transfer to Cochin after breakfast. Later on, carry on with the Cochin city tour, which includes stops to the Jewish Synagogue and the Dutch Palace. Go to the Fort Cochin neighborhood where the St. Francis church is located. Additionally, observe the Chinese fishing nets in the vicinity. After leaving God's own country with wonderful recollections, head back to the railway station or airport in Cochin.
